Each whimsical creature is assembled from flowers and leaves grown right here in Princeton. Through careful arrangement of botanical elements, each piece captures not just form but character, revealing the quiet magic that happens when we look closely at the plants around us and imagine them anew.
About the Artist
FloreOrganicBotanics is the botanical art practice of Sophie Meunier Aitsahalia, a Princeton-based artist who transforms organically grown flowers into whimsical pressed flower creations. An academic by day and flower artist by night, Sophie grew up in Paris and discovered her passion for gardening after moving to New Jersey, planting her Princeton cottage garden in succession to showcase over 300 varieties of flowers throughout the seasons. She presses these blooms to preserve their beauty a little longer, celebrating the diversity and ephemeral magic of the natural world.
