On the heels of another successful Love Show (our community art show), we are honored to be among several Princeton establishments featured in US1’s article about local exhibition opportunities for artists.
As Small World’s co-owner, Jessica, said to US1’s Dan Aubrey, “We have been exhibiting art once a month since the day we opened our doors in 1993. From our inception, having a monthly rotating art show with primarily local artists was a part of our mission. Between our two cafes, we now have 24 art shows a year.
…One of my favorites is that it allows our space to reinvent itself once a month. Most cafes have regular customers who come in multiple times a week. In this process of regular visitation we get used to the environment. But on the first Wednesday of every month after the new art show has been hung, I notice myself, my employees, and our customers look up a little more and take in the new art.”
Thank you to the US1 staff for the great coverage! Read the full article here.
